Peavey Electronics introduced the original VYPYR guitar amplifier in 2008. This game changing amplifier launched many industry firsts, such as first guitar amplifier to have on-board USB, stompbox presets, looper, 5 effect simultaneous operation, and TransTube, Peavey’s revolutionary analog/digital hybrid technology. Now continuing the tradition of innovation and excellence, Peavey launches the VYPYR X modeling amplifier. This latest evolution of the groundbreaking VYPYR series features updated styling, superior cabinet design for premier acoustic performance, and improved TransTube technology. The new VYPYR X2 also features Bluetooth remote control and audio streaming in. Now users can stream backing tracks into the amplifier and control all settings via iOS remote app control.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic high-gain amp head, Peavey unveils the 6505 1992 Original. Armed with five 12AX7 preamp tubes, a 6L6GC-fueled power section, and a custom-built output transformer, this 120-watt fire-breather is a spot-on re-creation of the early-’90s classic. This footswitchable 2-channel tube head includes everything you need to cultivate its notorious tone, including a shared 3-band EQ, Presence and Resonance controls, and per-channel Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls. Beyond that, the Rhythm channel flaunts Bright and Crunch switches, enabling you to shift from spanking cleans to Burn My Eyes-style high-gain without missing a beat. A Preamp Out jack and an effects loop round out the 6505 1992 Original’s arena-ready features. The Crest Audio® CPX™ series is an affordable line of professional power amplifiers geared toward the touring and install markets.

Industry standard connectors and features make the CPX a great backbone for mobile sound systems, project studios and many other applications.
