The front panel of the YC is designed for swift sound manipulation, with dedicated sliders for all functions. The organ wave section includes five distinct waveforms—American tonewheel, British, Italian, Japanese transistor, and Yamaha’s own YC-45D. These waveforms give you a wide palette of sound choices, while the nine drawbars offer nuanced control over harmonic content. Additionally, the percussion section accentuates the attack of your chords with two types and adjustable lengths for varied dynamics.

Further enhancing the sonic experience, the YC includes a vibrato/chorus section, onboard stereo speakers, a rotary speaker simulator, and effects like distortion and reverb. The compact 37-note keyboard utilizes Yamaha’s High Quality (HQ) technology, ensuring a precise and expressive playing experience.
