The Yamaha DXS18 18″ 1020W Active Subwoofer provides powerful bass reinforcement in a compact design, making it an ideal companion alongside the DXR and DSR full-range loudspeakers. This subwoofer’s wooden enclosure features an optimized bandpass design delivering high SPL levels with minimal distortion. With a high-power 18″ woofer, it adeptly reproduces frequencies as low as 32Hz, all while being finished with a robust Line-X elastomeric coating for enhanced durability.

Driven by a Class-D amplifier, the subwoofer achieves a peak power rating of 1020W for clear and powerful bass. It features integrated D-XSUB processing, enabling users to choose between Normal, Boost, or Xtended LF modes. In setups using multiple DXS18 units, the Cardioid Mode significantly reduces stage-side sound pressure and enhances the bass output directed towards the audience, creating a better stage monitoring environment and a more immersive experience for the audience. The rear panel includes XLR input and thru connectors for versatile compatibility with various speakers and sound systems. Additionally, standard M20 and 35mm pole sockets allow for convenient mounting of full-range speakers on top, and integrated handles offer easy transportation.
