Description

The VI‑Q 10 from Velodyne Acoustics is designed for audiophiles and home cinema enthusiasts who demand precise, high‑impact low‑frequency reproduction. Featuring a rigid sealed cabinet constructed with a 21‑layer 50 mm front baffle and 22 mm HDF walls, the design eliminates port noise and ensures fast impulse response.
Inside, a 10″ high‑excursion triple‑vented basket driver with a carbon‑fibre membrane and convex cone is paired with a large 3″/76 mm four‑layer voice coil and dual‑ferrite magnet motor for high power and low distortion.
Amplification is class‑D, offering 850 W dynamic and 450 W RMS in this model, with a 12 dB/octave low‑pass crossover from 50 Hz to 180 Hz, and selectable phase (0/180°) control. 
Connectivity is flexible: stereo/LFE RCA, XLR high‑level input and output, speaker‑level inputs for integration with amplifiers lacking dedicated sub outputs. The VI‑Q also supports the iWoofer™ app for parametric EQ and room calibration. 
With compact and refined styling (38 cm × 40 cm × 32 cm, approx. 21 kg), the VI‑Q 10 is designed to deliver deep bass without dominating the space.
