Description

The Velodyne Acoustics Deep Waves 12 is engineered to deliver an immersive low-frequency experience for home theatre and high-fidelity audio systems. Built with a 12″ front-firing high-excursion driver and dual 12″ side-radiating passive radiators, the Deep Waves 12 offers deep, controlled bass with exceptional transient response. The driver uses a 2.5″ (63 mm) four-layer voice coil to provide precise, large excursion performance while the 22 mm MDF cabinet with internal bracing minimizes resonance. Its Class D amplifier delivers 800 W dynamic (400 W RMS) and supports a wide frequency response down to 22 Hz (±10 dB), with tunable low-pass crossover (50–180 Hz) and 0–180° phase control. Connectivity includes gold-plated stereo/LFE RCA jacks and nickel-plated high-level inputs, and the subwoofer is controllable from the listening position via the iWoofer™ app for effortless room tuning and customization.

The subwoofer is finished in matte black and designed for flexible placement thanks to its combination of front-firing driver and side passive radiators. It is ideal for both music and home cinema where tight, authoritative bass is required.
