The PreSonus Quantum is a versatile low-latency audio interface designed to meet the needs of professional audio engineers and enthusiasts alike. With up to 26 inputs and 32 outputs through analog, ADAT, and S/PDIF connections, it provides expansive connectivity options. Both the ADC and DAC feature dynamic ranges greater than 120 dB, ensuring high fidelity recordings at 24-bit resolutions and sample rates up to 192 kHz.

Analog I/O includes eight inputs and 10 outputs, featuring two combination 1/4″ / XLR jacks for instruments, mic-level, and line-level signals, as well as six combination XLR/TRS jacks for balanced audio. Outputs include eight 1/4″ TRS terminations, two balanced 1/4” monitor connections, and two headphone jacks with dedicated volume controls. The recallable XMAX preamps add further versatility, and DC-coupled outputs can deliver control voltages for analog gear.

In the digital realm, the Quantum features two banks of optical ADAT I/O, supplemented by S/PDIF connections, totaling 26×32 inputs and outputs. BNC wordclock connections facilitate synchronization with other studio gear. The unit also includes 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O for additional connectivity. Useful mixing features include 10 eight-segment LED meters, mute, dim, and mono functions, along with a talkback system and internal microphone. Thunderbolt 2 ports support connections to your host computer, allowing up to four Quantum units to be chained together. PreSonus’s Studio One Artist DAW is included, completing this comprehensive audio interface package.
