If your tonearm has a standard headshell or a cartridge mount, the OM 1S offers optimal sound reproduction. Ortofon has ingeniously included a tiny, removable weight-plate in the top of the mounting bracket. This feature ensures perfect tonearm matching by allowing you to adapt the cartridge to your specific setup.

For standard tonearms, simply leave the weight-plate in place. If you have a low mass tonearm, the weight can be removed to reduce the cartridge mass to a mere 2.5g, enhancing compatibility and performance.
