The Nektar GXP61 is a versatile 61-note USB MIDI keyboard controller, expertly engineered for keyboardists and live performers. It boasts intuitive performance controls, including a real-time repeat engine, advanced Nektarine plug-in management, and seamless Nektar DAW integration. Perfect for both studio and stage use, the slim-line control panel is an evolution of the Impact GX series, offering sophisticated DAW control and user-programmable settings.

One of the standout features is the innovative Key Repeat function that lets musicians create dynamic rhythms and patterns. The user interface’s illuminated RGB buttons provide direct control over repeat rates and various parameters like accents, swing, internal routing, modulation, and velocity. The second encoder allows for tempo adjustments, making this MIDI controller an exceptional tool for live performances and studio recording.

The included Nektarine 2.0 software further enhances the GXP61’s capabilities by allowing users to manage up to 16 VST or AU instrument plug-ins. With the ability to customize, save, and load patch sets instantly, musicians can make full use of keyboard zones, layers, and splits. Nektarine operates as a VST, AU, or AAX plug-in within compatible DAWs or as a standalone application.

The GXP61 provides extensive DAW integration with major platforms such as Bitwig, Cubase, Digital Performer, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar, and Studio One. It is bus-powered via USB but can also be powered by an optional 9 VDC power supply.
