Description

The Marine 8 by Bowers & Wilkins is designed for demanding marine and outdoor environments where durability must meet high-fidelity sound. Its generous 200 mm (8″) polypropylene bass/midrange driver produces authoritative low-end and a substantial midrange, while the 25 mm (1″) soft dome tweeter preserves clarity and detail. The enclosure is engineered for IP66-level ingress protection so the speakers withstand salt spray, hose-downs and the elements. Despite being the larger model in the Marine range, Marine 8 has a shallow 93 mm (3.7″) mounting depth and a 249 mm (9.8″) cut-out, making it suitable for many installations where depth is limited.
