Description

Unveiled as the modern evolution of the classic 1963 model, the La Scala AL6 packs Klipsch’s horn-loaded magic into a refined floorstanding speaker built for high efficiency and low distortion. The AL6 is a three-way horn-loaded system where each driver is mated to a dedicated horn optimized for its passband. It features the K-771 compression driver with an extended phase plug for improved high-frequency dispersion, a larger K-1133-HP 3″ midrange compression driver on the new K-406M Tractrix horn with Mumps technology for improved coverage and clarity, and a K-281 12″ woofer housed in a newly designed horn-loaded, vented enclosure for significantly enhanced bass performance. An optional Heritage Active DSP crossover is available for users seeking time/phase alignment and advanced EQ tuning. The speaker is available in premium veneers (American Walnut, American Auburn, Black Ash) with a silver metallic grille and is handcrafted in the USA.
