The Genelec 8331 is a black, point-source, near-field monitor designed for professional audio use, featuring a coaxial design with a midrange driver, treble tweeter, and dual 5.1” woofers. It supports analog and digital AES/EBU inputs via XLR jacks, with Intelligent Signal Sensing technology for automatic detection of audio signals. The monitor is compatible with Genelec’s GLM software for optimal room tuning and monitor coordination using Cat5 cables and RJ45 connections. Additional features include offline level controls, a reflex port, an Iso-Pod stand for isolation, and more detailed features aimed at enhanced acoustic performance.
