The EKX-18SP from Electro-Voice is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed for live music and DJ applications. It features a 1300W Class D amplifier, providing powerful and clear sound with a maximum peak SPL of 134 dB. The integrated EV transducer ensures exceptional audio quality.

The subwoofer is equipped with QuickSmartDSP processing, accessible through a user-friendly interface and a backlit LCD screen. This allows for precise control over sound settings. Additionally, the Cardioid Control Technology helps direct sound towards the audience while reducing noise on stage by up to 35 dB.

The EKX-18SP employs an intelligent thermal management system with sensors that adjust the variable-speed fan as needed, ensuring optimal performance. With two XLR outputs, it can seamlessly integrate with additional loudspeakers and subwoofers. The robust construction includes large slot ports to minimize distortion, a reinforced metal grille, and an M20 threaded pole-mount plate for secure setup.
