Building upon the success of the original SC5000, the Denon DJ SC6000 Prime is a high-definition digital DJ media player with dual layers and latency-free tactile navigation, load, and playback functionality, making it well suited for professional DJs, touring festivals, clubs, mobile DJs, and home enthusiasts.

Updates to the SC6000 Prime include a larger 10.1″ high-contrast, multi-touch display, and an 8.5″ jog wheel with a hands-on platter surface area for track cue, pitch, and scratch manipulation. Additionally, it features updated rubber buttons with subtle lighting, tactile feel trigger pads for enhanced performance, and mix creativity.

With built-in Wi-Fi and wired internet connectivity, DJs can now stream music standalone or via partnered services such as Beatport, Beatsource, Soundcloud, and TIDAL. The Engine software can read rekordbox, Serato, and Traktor libraries directly from media with all grid markers, hot cues, and loop points intact.

The dual-layer playback engine functions like two separate players, complete with independent audio outputs. The player facilitates on-board music file analysis, allowing the addition of cue points, loop start and end points while working on-the-fly. It runs Denon DJ’s latest Engine Prime software on a dedicated multicore internal processor, providing direct access to convenient performance features.

The 8.5″ touch-reactive jog wheel has a central display for track artwork, custom artwork, or artist logos. The player also includes eight multifunction trigger pads for creative hot cues, loops, slices, and roll playback, all locked to a super-accurate beat-grid analysis.

LAN networking capabilities allow up to four players to be synchronized for data transfer and enhanced BPM and FX possibilities using the Engine Connect protocol with the Denon DJ X1850 Prime 4-channel mixer. The SC6000 Prime remembers DJ performance preferences and settings from USB drives or SD cards, including track cue points, loop regions, playback history, and preparation folders.

Audio outputs deliver 24-bit/96 kHz sound quality, supporting all uncompressed formats like FLAC, ALAC, and WAV, alongside popular compressed files.
