Description

The LCD-X Headphone was the first Audeze headphone designed specifically with the needs of music creators in mind. Boasting Audeze’s most neutral drivers, the LCD-X reveals subtle detail with crystal-clear transparency so mixes translate seamlessly across speaker systems. Drivers use space-age materials in an ultra-thin diaphragm (thinner than a human hair) that is four times larger than typical headphone diaphragms for faster response, dramatically reduced distortion, higher resolution, and improved imaging. Double-sided magnet arrays deliver a uniform driving force across the diaphragm for near-zero distortion, while patented Fazor™ Elements guide internal soundwaves to avoid resonance and produce a more accurate waveform. Hand-crafted in California, the LCD-X features a steel & leather suspension headband, choice of leather or leather-free earpads filled with acoustical foam, anodized aluminum ear cups, and is intended to perform best when driven by a quality amplifier. Includes a 1/4″ to dual mini-XLR cable and an economy travel case. Listen responsibly — exposure to excessive sound levels can cause hearing loss and excessive power can damage the headphones (rated power handling 5W RMS).
