The Arcam ST5 is a compact high-resolution music streamer that upgrades Arcam Radia amplifiers with network streaming, AirPlay2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready and an ESS ES9018 DAC for analogue output.
Description
The ARCAM ST5 is the high-resolution streaming upgrade for the Arcam Radia range, designed to pair seamlessly with A5 and A15 amplifiers via a comms link so the two units behave as a single integrated system. Its slim form factor and dedicated components deliver improved sonic performance by isolating the streamer from the amplifier’s power supply.
Connect the ST5 to your network with Wi-Fi or Ethernet and enjoy instant playback via Apple AirPlay2 or Google Chromecast. The ST5 supports direct streaming from Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, is Roon Ready for advanced multi-room/metadata use, and supports Hi-Res formats (up to 24-bit / 192 kHz) plus MQA. All digital audio is converted using an ESS ES9018 high-resolution DAC with time-domain jitter elimination for accurate analogue output.
The ST5 also supports the new Arcam app for setup and internet radio presets (including Qobuz, Amazon Music and podcasts), offers gapless playback, and ships in plastic-free packaging.
