The Arcam AVR21 is a 7.2-channel, audiophile-grade AV receiver with Class AB amplification,
HDMI 2.1 video switching, built-in streaming (AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect), and
industry-leading Dirac Live room correction for precise home-theater performance.

Description

The AVR21 delivers plenty of clean power from its Class AB amplifier—110 watts per channel into 8Ω
(20–20,000 Hz, 0.02% THD with 2 channels driven)—backed by an over-engineered toroidal power supply
to reduce noise. Designed for audiophile-grade home theater sound, it decodes modern surround formats
(Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, AURO-3D) and supports up to large multi-channel setups when paired with external amps.

Video connectivity is 8K-ready via HDMI 2.1 with seven inputs and three outputs (all ports supporting
4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz where applicable) and HDCP 2.3 compatibility. The AVR21 includes dual main-room HDMI
outputs, a Zone 2 HDMI output, and broad HDR support including Dolby Vision, HDR10/10+, and HLG.

For music the receiver offers Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Bluetooth (aptX HD), Spotify Connect,
and TIDAL Connect, and supports UPnP for networked high-res files. The AVR21 features dual ESS 9026PRO DACs,
extensive I/O including digital optical/coax inputs, analog RCA inputs, and 15.2-channel preamp outputs for
use with external amplification. Dirac Live room correction (microphone included) provides precise EQ tailoring.
