Featuring 16+1 motorized faders and 16 high-quality microphone preamps, this compact mixer is equipped with sophisticated processing power, flexible routing options, and intuitive control interfaces that enhance your audio mixing experience.

Driven by the 96 kHz XCVI Core FPGA engine, the SQ-5 offers high-resolution audio quality, ultra-low latency (less than 0.7 ms), and the robust performance needed for complex mix configurations. The SQ’s DEEP processing architecture allows the integration of boutique compressor and preamp emulations directly into the mixer’s channels, preserving audio integrity without added latency.

Conveniently, the on-board 7″ capacitive touchscreen provides clear visual feedback and, along with illuminated encoders, facilitates hands-on control. Users can customize their setup with drag-and-drop channel assignments, personalized naming, and color coding. Additionally, USB recording and playback make the SQ-5 ideal for virtual sound checks and studio mixing.

The SQ-5 supports expansion through Allen & Heath’s stage box options, optional Dante or Waves cards, and is compatible with the ME Personal Mixing System, giving performers control over their monitor mixes. Its connectivity options include 16 local mic inputs, multiple stereo inputs, and a variety of output configurations, ensuring adaptability and ease of use in different environments.
