Allen & Heath DX168 Portable DX Expander

The rugged DX168 Portable DX Expander from Allen & Heath significantly extends the input and output capabilities of dLive S Class or C Class mixing systems. Equipped with 16 XLR mic/line inputs, each with independent phantom power LED indicators, as well as eight XLR line outputs, it ensures comprehensive connectivity for diverse setups. A Cat 5 cable (sold separately) seamlessly connects the expander to the dLive system, allowing deployment up to 330 feet away from the mixer.

Enhance your system’s versatility with the option to chain up to six DX168 units, culminating in a substantial 96 inputs and 48 outputs. The inclusion of Cascade mode supports daisy-chaining of two expanders, thus maximizing inputs and outputs capacity. Built for durability, this unit features hard-wearing rubber bumpers, ensuring safe placement on stage floors or compatibility with standard 19″ rack-mount systems (rack kit sold separately). Practicality and portability are enhanced with a built-in carry handle.
