The Sub8 is a small yet powerful subwoofer designed to extend the low frequency capabilities of any nearfield monitoring system down to 30Hz. It houses a robust 8.5″ woofer with a 1.5″ voice coil driven by a 160W ICE power amplifier. This amp combines low heat generation with high performance to handle maximum power levels, even during long mix sessions.
The black AYRA PRO6.5 Active Two-Way Professional Monitor is designed to provide producers and engineers with a powerful speaker that delivers neutral and precise audio monitoring to ensure accurate recordings and mixes. FiRPHASE processing, paired with dedicated internal DSP, ensures neutrality with a 0° phase response, while an extended range of inputs and frequency optimization controls allow the speaker to adapt to a wide range of studio and project facilities as well as home recording setups.
Optimized for a wide range of near-field applications, the PRO6.5 features a high-energy soft-dome tweeter with advanced magnetics, ferrofluid cooling, and a low-distortion waveguide for high-frequency clarity and definition. The tweeter is driven by a 40W Class-D amp, while a second 80W Class-D amp drives the 6.5″ composite fiberglass woofer. The front bass reflex port delivers a larger portion of the energy forward and away from rear walls, making the speaker well suited to in-wall installations.
The red CUBE Street II from Boss is a compact battery-powered portable stereo amplifier/speaker combo that’s well suited to on-the-go musicians and performers looking for an easy-to-use, grab-and-go solution with Boss quality sound and reliability. This second generation of the popular original doubles the total output power of the two high-performance 6.5″ speakers to 10W and features an updated ABS injection-molded form factor that’s even lighter to carry at only 9.75 lb.
The versatile amp runs on eight AA batteries or the included AC adapter and offers two main input connectors: a TRS/XLR combo input for microphones and instruments and a TS 1/4″ input for guitars and unbalanced microphones. The mic/instrument channel offers harmony, three-band EQ, and reverb effects, while the guitar/mic channel offers nine types of amps to choose from along with three-band EQ, chorus/delay, and a tuner. An additional 3.5mm input jack allows you to input music from a mobile device to jam.
Additional functions include the onboard 45-second stereo looper, automatic harmony function, and a reduced power Eco mode that halves the output power to 5W to extend the battery life. A separately available Bluetooth adapter allows you to wireless stream music from a mobile device and edit the amp functions remotely with the companion CUBE Street II Editor app. And, you can also practice and jam with the CUBE JAM app for iOS.
