The CGN331 E Gooseneck Microphone Dam Set from AKG includes the CK31 high-performance cardioid condenser microphone capsule and the GN30 E high-performance gooseneck module. The CK31 offers a wide cardioid polar pattern and is designed for inexperienced speakers and applications where more than one person uses the microphone in turn. The GN30 E gooseneck module works in fixed or mobile installations and comes with an integrated XLR phantom power adapter with 250 Hz bass roll-off, LED ring. It connects to any standard mixer input with 9 – 52V power supply.

All installation modules except LM 3 feature a status LED ring normally powered off the phantom supply voltage. When the microphone has been correctly connected and the system and phantom power switched on, the LED ring will glow at medium brightness. Thus, the sound system operator will know at a glance which microphones have been installed correctly. Note that in this configuration the LED ring only indicates the system is ready to operate (NOT that the microphone is open!). The user may deactivate the LED ring. This allows you for the first time to select status indicator modes without having to buy a new microphone.
The AKGN50ESPWS from AKG is a 20″ gooseneck with an XLR male terminated output connector. The gooseneck accommodates the AKG CK series microphone capsules and its adjustable gooseneck is designed to provide noise-free operation. The gooseneck mount also features integrated bass roll-off filter switch and a programmable On/Off, Push-to-Talk and Push-to-Mute switch with power indicator LED.
