This is a momentary unlatching footswitch/pedal that works with either electronic keyboards as a sustain pedal, or for quickly engaging and disengaging effects processors. The pedal is only active for the duration of time that it is depressed, and an example of it’s creative application would be the emphatic punctuation of specific musical phrases, during an instrumental solo, with a dramatic delay or reverb effect setting.

The BOSS FS-6 is essentially two switches in one, combining latch and momentary switching into one unit. Sporting two heavy-duty switches housed side-by-side, the FS-6 allows each switch to be set for latch or momentary operation, depending on the individuals’ playing style and setup. Individual polarity switches are also available for each pedal.The FS-6 is equipped with a 1/4″ TRS (stereo) input jack, and requires a stereo cable to function properly. Weighing just under 3 lb, the BOSS GT-1B is an effects processor chockfull of processing tools for electric bass housed in a relatively lightweight enclosure. Users of BOSS multi-effects products will recall the GT-10B; a wide array of preamps offered in that unit have been updated and retooled for this effects processor, and two models new to the lineup have been added. Limiting, distortion, graphic EQ, and more are offered, as are creative processors such as Harmonist, Bass Synth, Defretter, and more. All in all, the pedal sports 90 effects types, giving you 99 preset patches and 99 user patches for tweaking your timbre.

The Boss Katana-210 Bass is a dual 10″ 160W combo bass amplifier with onboard Boss effects designed to deliver versatile tones for bassists in the studio and onstage. At just under 3 lb, the BOSS Katana-Mini is a portable combo amplifier for electric guitars which aims to provide a large tone in a compact, portable enclosure. The amplifier provides three tonal characters—Brown, Crunch, and Clean. Brown is a sound modelled on Boss’s Waza line of amplifiers, delivering high-gain tones and much in the way of harmonics.
