Designed for gigging acoustic/electric guitarists, the BOSS AD-10 is a dual-channel acoustic preamp/DI pedal and recording interface. Measuring 8.5 x 6.3 x 2.3” and weighing only 1.3 lb, the unit is relatively compact and portable, so you can stuff it into your gig bag or accompanying satchel and take it with you to your next gig. One of the main features of the AD-10 is its Acoustic Resonance processing, which aims to restore the warm, present sound often missing from conventional undersaddle pickups. With this technology, you can plug your acoustic guitar into one of the AD-10’s 1/4″ inputs, process the oft-quacky signal through BOSS’s tone-shaping technology, and net an expressive, resonant tone that’s similar to your acoustic guitar in its organic state.

The AC-3 Acoustic Simulator from BOSS is a useful effect that turns your electric guitar into a virtual acoustic. Using the propriety COSM modeling technology, the AC-3 features Standard, Jumbo, Enhanced, and Piezo-equipped modes, as well as a built-in reverb effect. Separate outputs, one for guitar amps and one for PAs or recorders, allow for versatile configurations for the stage or studio. The AC-3 gives you an acoustic-like tone without having to carry a separate guitar.

The ACS Pro from BOSS is a 120W combo amplifier particularly suitable for acoustic guitar players and singer/songwriters. It offers two independent channels, each with a discrete analog input stage, and each boasting its own three-band EQ section. One channel provides a 1/4″ guitar input and a chorus effect. The other channel gives you a combination XLR/1/4″ jack useful in connecting a vocal or instrument mic, or another instrument (such as a second guitar), all while providing a delay/echo effect to further enhance the sound. Both channels have resonance filters to help fight against feedback on stage.

Bring punch and definition to your bass tone with the BOSS BB-1X Bass Driver Pedal. The BB-1X can be used as a standard drive pedal for your bass for when you want to add some extra gain. The pedal’s natural-sounding distortion maintains the definition, dynamics, and finest details of your tone. With the line-level TRS output you can also use it to define your main tone by always leaving it on to go directly to a studio or stage console as a DI. On the outside, the BB-1X has the familiar BOSS chassis with an added reflective accenting on the control panel. While the pedal provides basic Level, Blend, Low, High, and Drive controls to adjust your sound, there’s a lot more going on under the hood. 

If you use a small number of pedals in your setup, and you want to keep them protected and organized, the BCB-60X from BOSS is the pedalboard for you. Use this pedal board for a scaled-down setup, or as a second sidecar board for other pedals in your chain. The BCB-60X has a tough-molded construction to protect your gear as you traverse from gig to gig. Its customizable insert can be cut to better fit a variety of different stompbox sizes. Included with the pedalboard is a 4-pin parallel cable to daisy-chain power to multiple pedals at once. Please note, a power supply is not included.

The CE-5 Chorus Ensemble from BOSS is a compact chorus pedal that covers a wide frequency range and features high- and low-cut filters. This allows you to create a vast array of chorus effects, from mild, natural chorus, to clear and penetrating stereo chorus effects.

A recreation of two classic chorus pedals, the CE-2W from BOSS is intended for use with electric guitars. It provides two modes of chorus and one mode of vibrato in a single stompbox enclosure. The pedal’s Standard mode faithfully reproduces the sound of the original mono CE-2. The dual CE-1 modes, on the other hand, provide the tone and timbre of a vintage CE-1—its stereo chorus and vibrato are both represented here. Furthermore, a couple of additions bring the pedal increased functionality over the original CE-1 and CE-2. Such additions include variable chorus depth control in CE-1 mode, as well as two output jacks for an expanded stereo sound in CE-2 mode, which enables you to route your signal to dual amplifiers, if stereo chorus is your preference. Purchase of this pedal includes a 9V battery.
