Filter 1 offers a multimode circuit (LP, BP, HP), while filter 2 uses a fixed bandpass mode. What’s more, the 505 can increase the resonance of the filter without losing the low end, making it a powerhouse for creating unique bass sounds.
The System-500 Series 512 from Roland is a dual voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCO offers pulse-, triangle-, and saw-waveform outputs simultaneously with 1V/octave tracking and variable pulse width via panel control or CV modulation. Each oscillator can also be synchronized to the other with a hard/soft selection switch to create unique “sync” sounds. The System-500 Series – 521 from Roland is a dual, voltage-controlled filter (VCF) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCF offers a three inputs with level slider controls, dedicated cutoff and resonance knobs, and three modulation inputs with inputs two and three offering attenuation sliders. Additionally, each filter has a 3-way switchable high-pass filter with off/1/2 settings. The 521 includes four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to a Eurorack modular power supply (sold separately).
The System-500 Series – 530 from Roland is a dual voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCA offers three inputs with level-slider controls, an initial level knob, and three modulation inputs with dedicated level sliders. Additionally, each VCA has a 2-way switch for linear or exponential settings, LED indicators for load and overloaded signals, and two summed outputs, which combine the outputs of each VCA. The 530 includes four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to a Eurorack modular power supply (sold separately).
The System-500 Series – 572 from Roland is a time-based multi-effects Eurorack module that includes a 5-stage phase shifter, analog audio delay, a control-voltage gate delay, and an LFO. Offering controls for shift frequency & resonance, the phase shifter is capable of subtle to deep analog effects, while the audio delay offers independent control of delay time and resonance and creates flange- and chorus-like effects. Both the phase shifter and audio delay can be modulated by the internal LFO or via external CV signals, while the wet/dry effects mix is controllable manually or via an external CV signal.
TORCIDO from Roland is a modular distortion effects processor designed for modular synth users, keyboard players, guitarists, DJs, and musicians looking to expand their sound. The effect produces a range of tones from gentle, warm overdrive to heavy distortion. TORCIDO can be used as a tabletop unit or as a 21 HP Eurorack module with an array of CV/Gate inputs. The unit is controlled by six high-resolution 24-bit knobs, which offer an ultra-smooth resolution of 16 million steps. Additionally, the 1/8″ patch cable inputs can independently control the distortion amount, tone, tube warmth, wet/dry signal, low-end boost and signal bypass.
