In 1978 a unique and quirky little synthesizer was born. The Wasp, as it was called, was a monophonic, two-octave keyboard that used touch-sensitive keys. It was a novel idea back then but tended to be unreliable and difficult to play. An ultra-affordable homage to that iconic synthesizer, with all the features of the original and then some, the Behringer WASP DELUXE lets you conjure up virtually any sound imaginable with incredible finesse and ease. Pure analog signal path based on authentic VCF and VCA designs in conjunction with a flexible 6-shape waveform LFO including noise and S&H with frequency and pitch modulation control. Having your very own WASP DELUXE is like having your own personal time machine, enabling you to freely embrace the past – or shape the future!
The WING control surface utilizes a large capacitive touchscreen interface with touch-sensitive rotary controls for a new ease of operation. Three separate fader sections and a Custom Controls section can be tailored easily and intuitively to meet your personal requirements. No matter if you need a specific bus send fader next to the corresponding channel fader, or a dedicated “money” channel always at your fingertip, or even sharing the surface with two engineers – WING can be configured to elevate your production to a new level. The 64-channel 48 kHz bi-directional audio interface brings even more I/O options to the WING by making it ready for integration with Dante enabled IP networks. Dante is a proprietary AoIP solution from Audinate, which also complies with the AES67 standard for improved interoperability. It uses either standard 100Mbit/s or Gigabit Network infrastructure with DSCP-based QoS, with support for mixed sample and bit rates coexisting on the same network. The WING-DANTE card utilizes 24-bit signal transmission with sample-accurate synchronization and low latency, ensuring the highest audio integrity. Its secondary input allows you to set up a seamless, redundant network access.
The Behringer X-Dante 32-Channel Expansion Card For X32 Digital Mixing Console is designed to expand the recording and routing capabilities of the mixer with Dante Audio over Ethernet systems. The card plugs into the expansion port on the back of the mixer and provides 32 simultaneous channels of low-latency sample-accurate bi-directional audio to 100 MBit/s or Gigabit network infrastructures with DSCP-based QoS.
The card can transfer the signal at 24-bit 48 kHz resolution and allows for audio with mixed bit and sample rates to simultaneously coexist on the network. The secondary Ethernet port connection can be set up for redundant audio networking.
Using the downloadable Audinate Dante Controller software (www.audinate.com) and the integrated Ethernet switch on the card, the user can use a Mac or PC to manage audio routing and remotely control the X32 digital mixer over the network. By purchasing the Dante Virtual Soundcard software for Mac or PC (www.audinate.com), the user can also record and playback up to 64 channels of audio into a multi-track DAW.
